Introduction to Riemannian Geometry and General Relativity
This is a term paper Michael James Gilbert and I wrote for the course Topology & Geometry (Spring 2007), taught by Prof. Hermann Flaschka. The term paper is an introduction to Riemannian geometry and to the general theory of relativity. Since it was written for a math course, it emphasizes the beautiful mathematical aspects of Einstein’s theory, and not the physics.
